Assistant Professor

Biography

Leena Saikia was born in Jorhat in the year 1978.  She completed her graduation (BSc honours in Statistics) from J.B College and further went on to pursue her Masters in Statistics from Dibrugarh University in the year 2002. She has specialization in Operation research and Stochastic process .She completed her B.Ed. from Post Graduate Training College, Jorhat in 2007. She attained her M.Phil degree in the year 2011 from Vinayaka Mission University.She joined as a Lecturer in Jorhat Kendriya Mahavidyalaya in the year 2007. She has been an active member in various academic and non-academic activities.

Institutional Cooperate Responsibility

  • Leena Saikia has been actively serving since 2007. She has been dutiful to the college and has rendered her duties as In-charge of Student Union, Assistant Officer in-charge in Degree Examinations, In-charge-Departmental Field Study, Supervisor of Project Report, Participated in Teachers’ Meet, Members of Botanical garden, Science and Technology forum etc and also she has been worked as external examiner of practical exam in different colleges.
