Biography
Born in Sibsagar District, pursued Higher studies in DKD College after Passing HSLC from Amguri Girls’High School. She got her Masters degree from Dibrugarh University with specialization in Linguistics. She has been rendering service as an Assistant Professor in the Dept of English of Jorhat KendriyaMahavidyalaya since August, 1998. She is awarded M Phil Degree FromPeriyar University, Tamilnadu. She is in charge of Coordinator of the Study Centre of Jorhat KendriyaMahavidyalaya, under Directorate of Distance and Online Education, Dibrugarh University. Moreover, she is serving as a Coordinator of Learner Support Centre, under Centre for Distance and Online Education, Tezpur University. She is the Care Taker Officer of NCC Unit of the College under 51 Assam Air Sqn NCC, Jorhat.
