Mrs. Purabi Kalita,joined Jorhat Kendriya Mahavidyalaya on 24-09-2022 as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Education of the college. I had done my schooling from St. Xavier’s School, Dibrugarh, my HS degree from Salt Brook Academy, Dibrugarh,. I have completed my graduation from Handique Girls’ College under Gauhati University and my Master degree in Education from Gauhati University. I have also been awarded the Master of Philosophy degree from Dibrugarh University in the year 2017. Before joining this college, I have worked as an Assistant Professor, at the Department of Education at Kaliabor College from the year 2014 to 2015. And then as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Education of Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva Viswavidyalaya, Nagaon from July 2017-September 2022.
. Have presented a seminar paper on the topic ‘A study of the level of Awareness on Environmental Degradation of the High School Level Students of Dibrugarh Town’ at an International Seminar organized by CKB college, Teok, Jorhat.
Have presented a seminar paper on the topic ‘School Environment and its impact on Academic Achievement of class-X students of Government and Private Schools in Kaliabor Sub-Division: An Analytical study.’ At an Annual International Conference of InSPA organized by Department Of Psychology, Gauhati University.
Attended a Workshop on ‘Use of ICT Tools for Classroom Teaching’ organized by E & ICT Academy, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati in association with Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva Viswavidyalaya, Nagaon from 11th to 17th June, 2018.
