Assistant Prof .Khusboo Agarwal joined the Department of Botany in Jorhat Kendriya Mahavidyalaya on 24 September, 2022. She did her B.Sc from B.H. College, Howly under Gauhati University and M. Sc from Gauhati University.
• Presented a project titled “Conservation of Soil” in the “17th National Children’s Science Congress (District level) organized by Assam Science Technology and Environment Council on 4th October, 2009.
• Attended a national seminar on “Prospects and Challenges of Plant ScienceResearch in India” organized by Department of Botany, Gauhati University on November 25-26, 2017.
• Participated in the Orientation Program on “Assam Biodiversity Portal” (ATREE) in collaboration with Department of Zoology, Gauhati University on May 16, 2018.
• Participated in the “AssamBotany Congress (ABC-01) & International Conference on Plant Science” organized by Botanical Society of Assam, Department of Botany, Gauhati University; Department of Botany, Cotton University and Assam Science Technology and Environment Council, Govt. of Assam from February 4 to 6, 2019.
• Participated in the e-training course on “Basics of Soil Science in relation to crop productivity and soil contamination” organized by North Eastern Regional Institute of Water and Land Management, Tezpur from May 4 to May 15, 2020.
• Attended the online webinar on “Microbiologist In Everybody” by Biocon Academy and Biotecnika Info Labs Pvt Ltd on June 3, 2020.
• Participated in the international quiz and survey “Online Learning Techniques: Awareness” conducted by the IT Club of NSS Training College, Ottapalam, Kerala on June 27, 2020.
• Participated in the short term course in “Coastal Biodiversity” conducted by University of Mumbai from April 15 to April 21, 2021.
A book chapter titled “Air Pollution and Environmental Ethics” was published in a book named “Air Pollution and Prevention” with ISBN number 978-93-94570-82-5 on December 12, 2022.
